Edina Public Schools is pleased to announce the hiring of Jody Remsing as the next Director of Student Support Services. She is currently Special Services Director at Wayzata Public Schools, a position she has held for five years. Remsing will begin her tenure with Edina Public Schools on July 1, following the retirement of Jeff Jorgensen.
The Edina School Board is seeking community members, specifically former School Board members, who wish to be considered for an interim position on the School Board. The selected individual would temporarily fill the Board position vacated by Leny Wallen-Friedman until an election is held on Nov. 8.
Edina Public Schools is pleased to announce the hiring of Matthew Flugum as the next Digital Learning Coordinator. He brings seven years of experience in technology and curricular leadership.
Chris Griggs, an Edina High School social studies teacher, will travel to Washington, D.C. this June to attend the prestigious Supreme Court Summer Institute. After a highly competitive application process, 60 teachers were selected to participate this year.
