Adapted Floor Hockey

Header
Welcome! We are excited about this season and hope you are, too. The Edina Adapted Floor Hockey program gives players the opportunity to represent their school and community, while competing on an athletic team. See below for more program information.
Adapted Floor Hockey
Edina High School has a partnership with Bloomington, Richfield and Eden Prairie in offering two adaptive Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) programs - the Jets and the Flyers.

  • The Jets are made up of cognitively impaired students from grades 7-12 from Bloomington, Eden Prairie and Richfield. The Jets practice and play home games on Mondays and Wednesdays at Bloomington Jefferson High School. See brochure below for more information.
  • The Flyers are made up of any student with a physical condition that prevents them from "keeping up" with the pace of typical high school sports. These students must be in grades 7-12. The Flyers practice and play home games on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Bloomington Kennedy High School. See brochure below for more information.
  • It is important to know, Edina High School will do all it can to help secure transportation to and from Bloomington for practices and games. This has been a challenge in the past few years with limited drivers and vehicles. This is not guaranteed, but we want to provide this opportunity for our students
